2ne1 Confirms MV For Try To Copy Me

After setting the kpop scene on fire with their debut song and I Don’t Care, 2NE1’s been on the DL and off the kpop radar for a few months now. Well, until they released Try to Copy Me on February 8. Although this song was released for an endorsement with Corby, 2NE1’s song has already scaled its way up the music charts to battle it out with Oh!, SNSD’s comeback song.
As with many other endorsements, such as Dara’s Cass endorsement, a music video reportedly will be filmed for Try to Copy Me.
“We decided to film a music video for 2NE1’s Try to Copy Me. Although we initially had no plans for a music video, we eventually decided to due to the hot response,” a representative said. “Seo Hyun Seung … will direct the music video … which will have a chic & trendy concept.” Seo Hyun Seung has directed other YG productions in the past as well including 2NE1’s I Don’t Care, so this will definitely be a great MV to anticipate.

Although many initially believed that this song would be nothing more than a musical accompaniment to a commercial, there are now rumors that 2NE1’s full comeback is just around the corner.

Dance Battle: Big Bang’s Taeyang vs. Super Junior’s Eunhyuk

The two best dancers of each group, Big Bang’s Taeyang and Super Junior’s Eunhyuk came face to face on Kang Shim Jang / Strong Heart. I was pretty excited for this one because they’re both known for being amazing dancers.
Both of these talented dancers definitely gave an eyeful for all the female guests and us! Though Eunhyuk is usually the funny man on Kang Shim Jang, he surely got into it while dancing.
It’s been awhile since Taeyang has been on a variety show so it was nice to see him being active as well.

Ahahaha--I dunno, even though both boys were really good..Eunhyuk danced it off with his amazing dance footwork..--those were really fast moves., (even Daesung reacted ~whoooaaaa)..lol.

Goo Hara admits having minor plastic surgery

Korea is notorious for the amount of people that go under the knife and it has become so common that it is no longer considered a “bad” thing. Maybe that is why a girl group idol wasn’t too worried about confessing on her experience with plastic surgery…

Kara’s Goo Hara admitted on Kang Shim Jang / Strong Heart today that she has gotten plastic surgery before.
She said,
"When people tell me it looks like I’ve fixed all parts of my face, it’s so unfair. I already had folded eyelids but to make them more noticeable in pictures, I got them slightly fixed. I didn’t get plastic surgery on my nose, I just got a shot. Also, I’ve had braces for my teeth."

I guess she hasn’t done very much to her face. If you recall, neither has UEE from After School. Since female idols have been gaining the courage to ‘fess up about what alterations were made to their face lately, I wonder who will be the next to step up to the plate.

SHINEE Tops Music Charts In Thailand

Korean idol group SHINee has topped Thai music charts with their hit single "Ring Ding Dong" for three consecutive weeks, according to their agency on Wednesday.

"Ring", the title track from their mini-album "2009, Year Of Us", was ranked at No. 1 in album sales and on television music charts for the third week, SM Entertainment said in a press release.
The song has been topping music channel Channel V's "Countdown Asian Chart" since the first week of December. "Countdown" is a weekly music chart which ranks songs by the number of viewers' requests it has received.
"Ring" also sold the most albums in the country, according to weekly albums sales chart "Gram Asian Pop Top 10" which is released by Thai's record store franchise Gramophone. This is the third week SHINee has been named the top-selling artist.
The five-member pop group enjoyed a successful comeback this year with their third mini-album "2009" which was released in late October. They have had several other K-pop hits, including their debut single "Older Girl, You're So Pretty" and "Juliette" earlier this year.
The group is scheduled to make several television appearances this week, including the year-end episode of KBS music show "Music Bank" on December 25. They will be performing their new single "JoJo" as well as "Ring".

New Boyband "Child Of Empire" For Official Debut In January

Known as the big3 upcoming boybands with BEAST and MBLAQ, group Child Of Empire will have their debut next year in January!
The group which have been gaining popularity through cable channel reality program will have their official debut. Initially the group has been called ‘rivals’ to new idol groups BEAST and MBLAQ, but their debut was pushed back much to many fans’ disappointment.
The group recently did their MV filming in GyeongGiDo. With that, they has been preparing for their debut coming January. Much anticipation to their debut and upgrade in dance and vocal skills since the group members have shown its capabilities through their appearance on the reality program.
In addition, the group has received ’lovecalls’ for CF even before debut and the group has also done filming for 3~4 CF before their official debut coming up strong as a newcomer group.
A staff revealed, “The boys will show vocal and performance better than what fans will expect. Even though their debut was pushed back, they have been preparing for it. And they have been waiting for their debut.”

SNSD’s trainers clear up their diet

The nine lovely ladies of SNSD are flyin' high these days due to the huge success of their very first solo concert and Asia tour!
Each of the members was able to shine through their individual performances as well as through their group performances, rocking their hot bods for all fans to ogle at. Earlier, we reported how they managed to maintain their sexy figures and I'm sure several of you guys were left speechless at the shocking number of 800 calories a day. However, it seems as though their personal trainers have recently come out to state that the show had exaggerated their calorie intake. They stated, "SNSD's calorie intake is 1200 calories, not 800. These shows tend to exaggerate things."
Their calorie intake has finally been clarified and they all take in the six main nutrients according to their personal metabolism rates. As the girls are prepping themselves for upcoming shows in addition to their regular exercise routines, the girls' reduced calorie intake will not be as drastic.

Sexy member Yuri is often praised for having a very healthy physique and she takes in those 1200 necessary calories a day, divided into four to five meals a day due to her incredibly high metabolism rate. For these meals, Yuri enjoys bananas, bell tomatoes, cabbage, chicken breast, milk, and sweet potatoes. The rest of the members also share similar meal plans as Yuri and undergo the same calorie treatment.
While the members are taking in more calories than initially expected, it's still an extremely alarming number. Hopefully their trainers will be a little more lenient in terms of their calorie intake or else the girls just might burn out, and we definitely don't want to see that happen!

Big Bang Copycats in China?

Last week we reported about SNSD copycats in China as well as the Thai 2NE1. Though many were not sure whether they was just coincidences, this new clone seems to have a unanimous vote.
This video isn't exactly new and many of you might have already seen it earlier this summer. It's a music video of a Chinese singer who is performing a song very similar to Big Bang's Last Farewell. In fact, the beats are so identical, he even calls himself OK-BANG. Not to mention, the music video is practically a duplicate (besides the fact that it's poorly made) so it's almost impossible to pass this off as a cover or a remake.
Netizens have been saying, "It's ridiculous", "Just how far are they going to go?" and "How could they rip off this much?"

For once, it's taken netizens longer than usual to discover this, but now that they have, OK-BANG is receiving much negative feedback, but do you agree? Should an artist be able to do what he wants or are there some things in this world that are too sacred to mess with? One thing's for sure, this guy definitely doesn't have the swagger to pull off the Big Bang look. Seriously, who wears leather jackets with spikes and sailor hats anymore?

Big Bang

OK-BANG

Okay--with what you have seen---it's kinda funny right?--these guys were too obvious
the theme of the vid, the beat of the song---it's all the same.
Who wouldn't look at them as copycats?

SNSD Eats 800 Calories a Day!?

On Decemeber 17th on MBC's VJ Special, Behind Story, SNSD unveiled their daily meal plans and left fans in shock.
It was revealed that the girls only eat a strict diet of fruits and vegetables. In the morning they eat 200 calories, for lunch they eat 300 calories and for dinner they eat the same 300 calories putting the total at 800 calories a day.
A woman's average diet consists of 2000 calories daily so it's amazing to see that these girls can survive with such little food even with their rigorous dance training and long practice schedules.
The meal plan's main three items were sweet pumpkins, lettuce and cherry tomatoes. When they get hungry in between meals they eat cucumbers. I find this fact ridiculous because when I get hungry between meals, I pick up a bag of chips and eat about their daily worth in calories.

Fans commented:
"It is sad to see such beauties not being able to eat as much as they want."

"They probably want to eat whatever they want, so it must be hard"

"Since they have to balance out their nutrients as they do at such a young age, life will be hard later if they don't change their eating habits."

With their killer bodies, it seems like the girls' diets are paying off - but they should still eat more, 800 calories a day is unhealthy for any young adult!
Omo---that's why some of them looks very fragile because of their thin bodies.
I am on a diet as well--i think for about 1500 calories..
I suggest theiy eat more than 800----even if they get chubby a little---they'll still look sexy...
